Hello! My name is Penny and I’m Eva’s cat. I’m 4.75 years old and my hobbies are unfolding the laundry, singing, and surfing the ‘net.
Eva has been completely ignoring her promise to feature an item from Etsy every Wednesday, so I’m taking over from her just this once. I looked around on that site and I don’t really see all that many interesting things to be honest. The bounce-or-break value of most of the craft projects appears low, and many of the prints are very expensive for something I would just nibble and drool on.
After clicking through many of the science themed projects I finally came across something a cat like me could use: a trilobite cat toy!
I don’t really know what a trilobite is (it looks like food, but it smells like computer…) but thankfully there is also a Feline’s Guide to Fossils available to read up on the subject.
Both items are made by The Frog Bag. She’s a member of Etsy For Animals, a group of artists who donate part of their proceeds to animal rescues and charities.
When I was a kitten I lived in a foster home, after I was found in a cold stable with other cats and horses. If it wasn’t for the foster organization, I wouldn’t get to live in a house where I get food and hugs and internet access, so as a graduate of an animal rescue I support this group.
Purrs,
Penny =^..^=

Please notice that my cat uses proper grammar, as most cats do. SOME websites might have you believe that all cats speekz lik dis, but this is merely a distortion of the internet. If you only ever visited YouTube you’d think humans couldn’t spell properly either…
Oooh, Penny! Nice to see you on the blog. Maybe I’ll knit you a nice cat toy, yeah!
Thanks for the post.
