I found this in a lost folder on my computer called “fun pictures”.
Where does this come from? I remember I found it online a few years ago, and took this screen shot. If anyone knows where to find the whole thing, let me know and I’ll credit!
Update Megan left a comment with the source link. Thanks! It’s from Jay Pinkerton, who does remakes of old comics. The Superman comic in question was posted there two years ago.
Don’t know where it comes from, but one thing I can tell you for sure – the artwork is a mash-up of early Superman and 1950s Challengers of the Unknown (the four “cool scientists” in the second panel).
I vaguely recall the whole comic was linked on BoingBoing once, but I can’t find it in Google.
You might want to check out jaypinkerton.com. He does remakes of 50’s style cartoons and this seems familiar to me, which makes me think it’s from his site.
